These little birds are from India and are closely related to their native wild fowl. Originally they were the only good source of stiff dry fly hackle.
-Prime- Very dry with good feather count. Ranges in size 10 – 20’S lots of 14 – 16 ‘S.
-#1- Still very dry but not sa many feathers as prime.
-#2- Wider hackle with some web, not as long or as stiff
